Basketball fans held their breath after Caitlin Clark went down early in an Indiana Fever win over the Atlanta Dream. Clark grasped at her ankle and appeared to be in serious pain. To everyone's relief she was able to walk it off and return to the game minutes later.

However, according to Clark, she may have been being dramatic. Caitlin was asked about the injury following the contest and had this to say. "I saw the replay, I look really soft."

That led to a chorus of laughs from teammate Kelsey Mitchell and head coach Christie Sides. Clark then added, "It wasn't that bad of a turn but it hurt...you're not a real basketball player if you haven't sprained your ankles a bunch."

Caitlin said she requested for it to be taped up so she could get back out there and that's exactly what happened. Clark returned to the floor and finished with 19 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists; complete with many of her trademark highlights.

One sequence at the end of the third quarter particularly stood out, as it saw Clark make a saucy move behind her back for a bucket.

Clark was assisted in the scoring column once again by her All-Star teammate Kelsey Mitchell. Mitchell dropped 29 points, while the team's third All-Star Aliyah Boston contributed 14 points of her own to go with 10 rebounds. The Fever were also helped out by the hustle of Lexie Hull who got the start in the second half of the contest.

It appears Clark will be no worse for wear as her electric rookie WNBA season continues, and we all hope she doesn't suffer anymore injuries she needs to call herself out about.
