Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark's influence has gone beyond basketball to the box office. Renowned actress Jamie Lee Curtis was doing press for Freakier Friday, a sequel to the hit film Freaky Friday and shouted out the Fever rookie in the process.

Curtis was asked who she would want to swap places with in the style of the movie by People, and her choice was to take the basketball court as Clark.

Jamie stated, "I wanna be Caitlin Clark for a day. I wanna play basketball like Caitlin Clark." Before adding, "She's my lucky number, 22."

This comment did not go unnoticed by the Fever social media team as the squad posted a graphic citing the recognition from the longtime Hollywood star.

Of course Curtis is not alone in her admiration for Clark, as Caitlin has taken the WNBA and women's basketball by storm, with the latest example being what she did against the Seattle Storm.

Clark is averaging 25.3 points and 12.7 assists on 50% shooting over her last three games and her averages of 17.8 points and 8.3 assists on the season have never been achieved in combination by any player in league history. So it makes sense for any fan of the game to be caught up in the performance of the WNBA star.

And in Jamie Lee Curtis' case, that goes as far as the actress wanting a Fever version of Freaky Friday, in hoping to hoop like Caitlin. If only for a day.
