Caitlin Clark had to overcome some obstacles early in her WNBA career. But now the Indiana Fever rookie has people lining up to praise her, as her performance on the court has been undeniable. The latest example being a strong overall performance that left the Seattle Storm in shambles.

Some of said praise has come in the form of NBA legends. Boston Celtics and Minnesota Timberwolves standout Kevin Garnett recently noted how he thought the Olympic break may have served as an adjustment period for Clark to improve her game. The Big Ticket pointed out differences in what he saw from Caitlin while adding that she "looked crazy out there".

Another basketball Hall of Famer offered praised following the Fever's win over the Storm, a contest that saw Clark break the rookie record for assists in a WNBA season. Former Detroit Pistons point guard and multiple time NBA champion Isiah Thomas remarked how Clark has joined an exclusive club. Zeke pointed out that there are very few players who have possessed Caitlin's dual threat abilities.

Thomas posted, "Let it be known that only a special few in our game's history can score while assisting teammates" above a graphic celebrating CC's new assists record.

Clark is now averaging 17.8 points and 8.3 assists on the year, marks in both categories that have never been reached simultaneously by any player in league history. Though it is starting to become difficult keeping up with the records Clark is setting.

The Fever star has shown she has quickly adjusted to the reality that is the WNBA and the new reality has led to her being appreciated by legends across the basketball world.

Because as they say, game recognize game.
