Angel Reese has had some issues finishing around the basket. That is no secret. Reese is hitting under 40% of her overall attempts, despite most coming near the rim.

This is something worthy of critique and is also a clear path to improvement. But of course that hasn't spared Angel from being mocked online, which comes with the territory. However, many were a little surprised to see what appeared to be trolling coming from an account as large as FanDuel.

The popular sportsbook first posted, "Angel Reese ALMOST made this buzzer beater" which was accompanied by video footage of Reese blowing a bunny at the end of the first quarter of a Chicago Sky loss to the Connecticut Sun.

Then, after the game, FanDuel was at it again. Their X account put up a graphic touting Reese's monstrous rebounding totals, but it came off like a backhanded compliment.

That's because next to listing her 43 offensive rebounds over the last seven games, they also noted that Angel has missed 64 shots over the same span. Which felt unnecessary to include in order to make what was supposed to be the original point. The implication seemed to be that Reese rebounds many of her own misses, which is true, but is also a testament to her tenacity.

Reese was just 3-12 from the floor against the Sun but she did grab 20 boards, making it the second straight game she hit that number on the glass. She became the first WNBA player in history to reach that total in back-to-back games.

Of course that doesn't solve her issues finishing around the basket. However, the posts still seemed out of pocket considering the source acccount.

As it almost came across like someone had lost a prop bet on her points total due to some missed shots.
