A'ja Wilson Appeared to Roast Aces Teammates Over Usher

Update: A'ja Wilson has since clarified that she was referencing the officials from the Las Vegas Aces and Chicago Sky game in the viral clip detailed below.

Aces star A'ja Wilson had another big game against the Sky, putting up 28 points and 14 boards. But it came in a loss, which perhaps led to a little sassiness from A'ja when she appeared to roast her teammates for wanting a photo with music star Usher after the game.

In safer for work language than she used, Wilson joked that the would be photo takers wanted the moment captured despite doing nothing in the lead up to it. A'ja did get some help from Jackie Young in the contest but the rest of the Vegas starters totaled just 15 points. While Chennedy Carter cooked the Aces for 34 on the other side.

The defending champs were not the only players excited to meet the R&B star who recently had a notable Las Vegas residency. Sky rookie Angel Reese captured a moment with him as well. Reese asked Usher to utter his famous, "Usher Baby", but instead he replaced his name with hers.

Angel was right to be excited not just for video she was able to capture, but also given it was a big win for Chicago heading into the Olympic break. The back-to-back defending champs will surely shake off the L but it was a rough game all in all, with Kate Martin leaving early due to injury, and Kelsey Plum notably struggling. The Team USA member went 0-8 from three in the contest and had trouble staying in front of Carter all night.
