Aces' Kelsey Plum Thinks A'ja Wilson Should Be Unanimous MVP

Wendell Cruz-USA TODAY Sports

Kelsey Plum of the Las Vegas Aces believes her teammate A'ja Wilson is WNBA MVP. And she doesn't think it is particularly close. Plum stated plainly, "It's a unanimous vote this year, you feel me?"

The Aces guard went on to say, "We're watching one of the greatest players of all time in front of our eyes" about her Las Vegas teammate. Kelsey has a case considering A'ja leads the league in scoring averaging 27 points per game to go with 11 rebounds a contest.

Wilson got a chance to put her game on display in front of 20,000+ fans when the back-to-back champs played Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever Tuesday. A'ja didn't disappoint putting up her usual numbers in a game her team pulled away in late. That matchup also featured some nice moments between Plum, teammate Jackie Young, and the much heralded rookie Clark.

All of the above will meet up again in the All-Star Game with Plum, Young, Wilson and Chelsea Gray all playing for the Team USA squad that will compete at the Olympics in Paris. While Clark will be a part of Team WNBA with three of her Fever teammates and fellow rookie Angel Reese of the Chicago Sky.

A'ja also has much anticipated signature shoe on the way with Nike. In fact, the only thing missing from Wilson's resume at this point in her WNBA career may be the Vegas residency from Beyonce she requested following the team's high profile win. Though no one would be surprised if Queen B wants to get a chance to see A'ja dominate courtside.
