Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark Had Nice Interaction on WNBA All-Star Bench

Everyone has seen the highlight by now. Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark found fellow rookie Angel Reese of the Chicago Sky for a bucket in the WNBA All-Star Game, one that was followed by a dap. But not only that, there was apparently a nice exchange between the pair that have been so often pitted against each other while on the bench.

The anecdote was captured in a piece by The Athletic, with Reese commenting on an exchange the two shared following the on court hook up. “I know that bucket went viral, I haven’t checked my phone yet, (but) my phone’s blowing up. (Clark) even said on the bench, ‘You know how many people are happy right now?’ I was like, man, I already know. I’m already knowing, so I’m gonna go see that video everywhere.”

Another place both Clark and Reese can be seen is Angel's Instagram. Reese released some photos from the festivities and amongst them was a handshake with Caitlin. The duo actually led the contest in assists and rebounds respectively, and the league's rebounding leader also discussed the prospects of playing with Clark at the Olympics in 2028.

Angel had this to say about what it was like to share the floor with Caitlin. "Yeah, it's so cool. I know when she gets the ball I'm running to look for the ball because I know she's gonna throw it. She's been great to play with....We're going to be playing with each other a lot. Hopefully in four years we'll be Olympians together."
