Back in October 2023, American sporting goods and apparel company Reebok announced that they had signed then-LSU Tigers superstar Angel Reese to a multi-year endorsement deal.

While many aspects of groundbreaking news caused excitement, fans were most excited to hear that Reese and Reebok, "are beginning work on her own capsule collection, slated to launch in the Fall/Winter 2024 season," per the Boardroom announcement.

Fast forward nearly 10 months, and the first look of Reese's debut Reebok collection has been revealed.

Reebok's X account made a post on Thursday morning featuring Reese wearing various pieces from her debut apparel and footwear collection. The post's caption wrote, "Reebok x Angel Reese
A new collection designed with, inspired by her powerful energy and versatile style. Dropping soon…" and included a link to Reese's collection on the Reebok website.

An announcement from Boardroom noted the details behind this highly anticipated release.

"Featuring three footwear styles and seven apparel pieces... features Reese’s unapologetic bold style through metallic ‘silver chrome’ and an icy ‘always blue’ color palette," Boardroom's Nick DePaula wrote.

This announcement is historic because it, "marks the first athletic brand product launch for a rookie from the heralded 2024 WNBA Draft class."

In other words, Reese and Reebok beat fellow rookie Caitlin Clark and Nike on getting their debut product line launched.

“I am honored to unveil my first collection with Reebok, and worked hand in hand with the brand to ensure each and every piece is designed to elicit confidence and expression,” Reese said in the Boardroom release.

Multiple pieces in the collection feature a quote that says, "When They Sleep on You…Tuck Them In!"

In addition, every shoe in the collection features a crown along the Reebok typeface logo, plus custom insoles reading “Unapologetically Angel.”

Reese replied to Reebok's X announcement with her own post, writing, "ICY GIRL. GIVING YALL THE BLUES! DROPPING SOON!"

She added in the press release, "I wanted to create a collection that allowed women and girls everywhere to embrace their femininity and power in whatever they’re doing.

“This collection is for her to be stylish and fierce on all occasions,” the rookie said.

Reese's entire Reebok collection will be available for purchase on August 23.
