Many WNBA fans don't know that Chicago Sky rookie sensation Angel Reese has a younger brother named Julian who also plays basketball.

Julian Reese is currently a senior at the University of Maryland. During the 2023-24 season, he averaged 13.7 points and 9.5 rebounds across 31.9 minutes per game.

Like his older sister, Julian plays predominantly in the post. Yet, despite him being 6'9", Julian once needed a monetary incentive from Angel to showcase his athleticism.

An interview of the two Reese siblings from when they were both playing at Maryland is going viral on X Monday due to a deal they made about dunking.

"[Julian] doesn't like to dunk on people," Angel said. "If I could dunk, I would dunk on everyone. I'm telling him, you should dunk on everybody. I told him every game you dunk on somebody, I'll give you $100.

"He dunked on [University of Illinois' 7'0" Center Kofi Cockburn] and I said 'Okay, I got you,'" Angel continued.

A video replay of Julian dunking on Cockburn was played earlier in the interview. Reese is seen hanging on to the rim for a few moments afterwards.

"My favorite play was when I got a dunk on Kofi," Julian said. "And I just didn't want to get off the rim."

Angel spent the first two seasons of her college basketball career at Maryland before transferring to LSU.

Because Angel is one year older than Julian, the two were only at Maryland together during the 2020-21 season. But they surely spent countless hours training together throughout their childhood.

A video from SLAM Magazine of Angel Reese dunking during a practice went viral on X back in June.

While dunking in practice is impressive, Angel probably didn't get $100 from it.
