Angel Reese Wants to Play with Caitlin Clark in 2028 Olympics

After much anticipation we finally saw Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark and fellow rookie Angel Reese of the Chicago Sky on the same team. The two of course have been linked going back to college in much discussed matchups between Iowa and LSU and that has translated over to the WNBA. But the All-Star Game was the first time they had ever taken the floor together as teammates. However, Angel certainly hopes it won't be the last.

Reese was asked about playing with Clark by ESPN play-by-play announcer Ryan Ruocco during the broadcast and was effusive in her praise. "Yeah, it's so cool. I know when she gets the ball I'm running to look for the ball because I know she's gonna throw it. She's been great to play with....We're going to be playing with each other a lot. Hopefully in four years we'll be Olympians together."

Clark and Reese together as Olympians would certainly be a sight to see and at this point feels like a bit of an inevitability for Los Angeles in 2028. Angel currently leads the entire league in rebounds and of course strung together a record setting double-double streak during her first year. While Caitlin is tops in the W in assists and recently set the all-time record for most in a single game.

Fans couldn't get enough of the idea of them wearing the same jerseys in Phoenix for All-Star festivities, and the same would certainly go for each donning the same uniform again...one that says Team USA on it. Clark and Reese looked good enough for it already in beating the current Olympians, while leading the game in assists and rebounds respectively.
