Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese Are Teammates in WNBA All-Star Game!

Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

It will be Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese and Team WNBA taking on Team USA and the squad heading to the Olympics in Paris at the WNBA All-Star Game. The rosters for the All-Star teams were announced and both Clark and Reese will be heading to Phoenix.

Since the format pits the rest of the league against the Olympic team that means the Indiana Fever and Chicago Sky rookies will be working together instead of going against one another. Which is a far cry from their history at Iowa and LSU that has carried over to the Rookie of the Year race.

The pair will be joined by Clark's Fever teammates Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell, Allisha Gray of the Atlanta Dream, Kayla McBride of the Minnesota Lynx, Arike Ogunbowale of the Dallas Wings, DeWanna Bonner and Brionna Jones of the Connecticut Sun, Dearica Hamby of the Los Angeles Sparks, Jonquel Jones of the New York Liberty, and Nneka Ogwumike of the Seattle Storm.

The selections were made through a voting process comprised of 50% fans, 25% current WNBA players, and 25% media members. Clark led all vote getters. The game itself will take place on July 20th in front of a sold out crowd. The Jordan Brand jerseys the squad will be wearing were revealed earlier today.

Clark and Reese as teammates is sure to be a sight to see, but there is no doubt they are both worthy of the honor, and will look good wearing the same uniform. This time with chemistry replacing any rivalry.
