Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese Rematch Is an Expensive Ticket!

INDIANAPOLIS STAR-USA TODAY Sports

All the attention around Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese showed up in the ratings and now it is proving to be box office as well. The Indiana Fever and Chicago Sky face off again Sunday in Chicago, the third meeting on the season between the two WNBA teams. However, it will cost fans a pretty penny if they want to be in attendance for the contest.

CNN reports according to TickPick the cheapest seat in the house is listed at $250, with the most expensive going for $9,000. The average entry cost is enough to make it the most expensive WNBA game ever with tickets surging 187% above what is typical for the Sky and topping the average for the Bulls as well.

The last meeting between Clark and Reese was the most watched WNBA game on any network in 23 years, so it should come as no surprise that the demand for the third act is so high as that showdown peaked at nearly 3 million viewers according to CBS.

The Fever are 2-0 against Chicago this season with Clark coming off a near triple-double in the last contest. In contrast to the Sky, who just snapped a four game losing skid, Indiana is rolling on a three-game winning streak.

But regardless of records and any discussion about fouls coming from the previous meetings, there is clearly a ton of public interest in the basketball matchup that has successfully translated from Iowa and LSU into a professional rivalry between Clark and Reese.
