Caitlin Clark Received Flood of WNBA Peer Support on Instagram

If Caitlin Clark's latest Instagram post is any indication, she is indeed done having to prove herself in the WNBA. Clark posted a photo dump from the record-breaking WNBA All-Star weekend to her IG, and the comments showed that she has certainly earned the support and respect of many of her peers.

Caitlin's post was commented on by the likes of Dallas Wings star Arike Ogunbowale, Sabrina Ionescu of the New York Liberty, Los Angeles Sparks standout Dearica Hamby, and her Indiana Fever teammate Aliyah Boston. With former league legend Ticha Penicheiro and numerous others chiming in as well.

All-Star MVP Ogunbowale, who had previously expressed her admiration for Clark, dubbed CC "tha future". While Boston called Clark "my favorite hooper". Sabrina was a little more concise in simply replying "hi". That after CC figuratively told her bye during an All-Star highlight.

Regardless, the love comes in sharp contrast to some of the discussion around Clark to begin the season, with many believing veterans had been unwelcoming to the ever popular first-year player. However, it seems any of that energy has subsided and the W can now celebrate the massive growth that has come with her entry to the league. Clark has led a surge in almost every metric, including merchandise sales.

Caitlin will now have her first extended break in recent memory given she went straight from Iowa to playing a grueling schedule professionally. However, despite expressing a desire for some rest before, Clark indicated she is already ready to get back on the court in her own comment section. Until then she'll have to enjoy the love dished out online the way teammates do her dimes on the floor.
