Caitlin Clark Receives WWE Royal Rumble Invite

Caitlin Clark has caught the attention of the WWE. With the pro wrestling company's marquee events heading to Indianapolis, wrestling star Bianca Belair extended a 2025 Royal Rumble invite to the Indiana Fever WNBA rookie sensation.

Belair was interviewed by Matt Aguilar of ComicBook Nation and was enthusiastic about the growth of women's sports that has been spearheaded by Clark. Fightful Wrestling transcribed Bianca's answer, which included her thoughts on the WNBA, "Even before the press conference, they're bringing up Caitlin Clark. I love what's happening with the WNBA. I love that women are getting more spotlight and more attention. I've always said that we don't need to do anything different, we just need opportunities and media coverage. The WNBA is doing that." Belair added this bit after inviting Clark to participate in the event taking place at Lucas Oil Field on February 1st.

"You might see Caitlin Clark in the 2025 Royal Rumble right here in Indianapolis."

The WWE superstar has been part of a surge in popularity for women in wrestling, including previously main eventing WrestleMania herself. So she would have a unique understanding of what is happening with the Caitlin Clark Effect.

It is of course highly unlikely that Clark would take the physical risk of entering the 30-person over-the-top extravaganza. Though it is a much better bet that Caitlin could at least be in attendance, perhaps alongside Tyrese Haliburton of the Indiana Pacers. Haliburton is a huge fan of the WWE--down to having his own Tyrese 3:17 shirt for sale.
