Mike Krzyzewski knows a thing or two about great basketball players. The legendary Duke coach and former Team USA men's basketball Olympics coach joined Colin Cowherd to discuss the state of the game. When the topic of Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark was brought up, Coach K had nothing to offer but praise, including saying that Clark would be "one of our great American players."

But it is one aspect of Clark's game that particularly stands out to the college and international coaching legend. Her court vision. Krzyzewski added this about Caitlin. "You know what she is, she's genuine...I think the best thing she does is pass. She's an amazing passer...she makes teammates better...I really admire how she's handled everything. And she's won over the people competing against her. They see that she's tough, she can handle it...I love her passing...she sees things that most players do not see."

Coach K also compared Clark's situation with Team USA to Kevin Durant, noting how KD was almost a part of The Redeem Team in 2008 before going on to dominate international competition. He also noted how he believes CC's talents will be showcased even more professionally due to the high level of players she shares the floor with in the WNBA.

As far as his assessment of her passing goes, he is not alone in admiring her ability to see the court, which often leads to assists. Clark is on pace to break the all-time W record for assists in a season, with her vision having now been recognized by her teammates, peers, and one of the greatest coaches of all-time.
