The Indiana Fever have quite a foundation, which general manager Lin Dunn sees as a WNBA free agent sales pitch. Dunn joined Howard Megdal of Locked On Women's Basketball and had a lot to say about the last two number one picks and two of the three Fever All-Stars, Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston.

Dunn believes the duo makes for an enticing lure for fellow players who will hit free agency saying, "It's an exciting time. Do you want to play with Aliyah Boston? Do you want to play with Caitlin Clark?" Indiana's GM went on to praise Clark in particular for what she was able to do at the All-Star Game in Phoenix.

"The performance that she put on at the All-Star Game versus our Olympic team. Didn't that send a message how skilled and how talented and how tough she is? My goodness gracious. Not only is she out there on the court as a rookie but she's playing against out Olympic team, the best in the world. And what did she have, 10 assists? And trust me, they're now allowing those assists if they can help it."

Clark and the Fever are already back at practice and currently sit in playoff position. In large part due to the contributions of the aforementioned core pieces of the team. Clark is averaging 17.1 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 8.2 assists. While Boston is up to 14.2 points and 8.7 rebounds after getting off to slow start. Kelsey Mitchell, the third All-Star, is putting up 16.9 points a game.
