Las Vegas Aces Set WNBA Sellout Record!

Wendell Cruz-USA TODAY Sports

The Las Vegas Aces are a hot ticket. The back-to-back WNBA champions are having no trouble getting fans out to watch them play as the team announced that all its regular season home games have sold out, a first for any franchise in league history. This coming after they were also the only team ever to sell out its full allotment of season tickets.

The top average attendance still belongs to Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever but A'ja Wilson and company will be playing to capacity all season. Wilson has been dominant so far in stating a clear MVP case leading the W in both points and rebounds. Though the squad has actually struggled a little bit relatively speaking, sitting at just a game over .500.

The Aces did recently get point guard Chelsea Gray back from injury after Gray hadn't played since game 3 of the 2023 WNBA Finals in October due to a leg injury. They've also gotten a strong season out of Jackie Young who had 32 points in the latest win over the Phoenix Mercury. Young will join Wilson, Gray and Kelsey Plum as members of the Team USA women's basketball roster for the Olympics in Paris. Another contributor to the stacked defending champs has been rookie Kate Martin, Clark's running mate from Iowa.

It remains to be seen if the Aces will repeat and hoist the trophy again, but it is now a guarantee that Vegas will play in front of an arena full of fans, win or lose.
