Liberty's Breanna Stewart Praised WNBA Rookies Ahead of Matchup with Caitlin Clark and Fever

New York Liberty star and reigning WNBA MVP Breanna Stewart had a lot of praise for Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese and the league's rookie class as a whole. Stewart joined LSU guard Flau'jae Johnson on her new "Best of Both Worlds" podcast and went into detail about the new players in the W. Stewart was asked which rookies have impressed her the most so far. She responded by citing Clark of the Indiana Fever, Reese of the Chicago Sky and Cameron Brink, who suffered a season ending injury during her first year with the Los Angeles Sparks.

Breanna credited Caitlin for her range and the impact she has had on attendance and singled out what Reese is able to do when it comes to other aspects of the game. “I think Angel, the way that she is constantly working hard, doing all the dirty work right now, rebounding, steals, making sure that she’s in all the action in whatever way she can help the team.” That before also mentioning the way Brink was able to stuff the stat sheet.

Stewart will see Clark again for the third time this season in Indiana Saturday, New York is 3-0 in the matchups so far. While Flau'jae has been very busy given she started the podcast with Overtime and recently released a music project by the same name, "Best of Both Worlds". The latter featuring a verse from legendary rapper Lil' Wayne, who joined the hooper/rapper/podcaster on a track titled "Came Out A Beast".
