Old Caitlin Clark Post Blows Up Ahead of WNBA All-Star Game

Caitlin Clark teaming up with Angel Reese and Team WNBA to go against Team USA and the Olympics roster at the All-Star Game is one of the more hotly anticipated sporting events of the Summer. So much so that even Caitlin's old tweets are resurfacing to add to the hype.

Clark remarked about her love for the four point shot in the contest back when she was still in college at Iowa. That wrinkle was introduced in 2022 when the league added two circles about 28 feet from the basket on either side of the court that were good for four points if shot from. The same concept was used in 2023 which saw Sabrina Ionescu of the New York Liberty sink three-straight shots from the spots.

Of course fans would love to see Caitlin fire from deep since that is something they've grown accustomed to, but it is the USA vs WNBA aspect of this year's contest that is sure to garner the most attention. Not only will Clark be teaming up with Reese but she will also be joined by two of her Indiana Fever teammates in Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell.

The exhibition will take place July 20th in Phoenix and if the voting returns are any indication, interest is already at a fever pitch. Clark was the leading vote getter by fans receiving over 600,000 more tallies than the top spot got just a season ago, as almost every metric around the W continues to go up.
