Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese is earning the respect of veterans across the WNBA. The latest example being Nneka Ogwumike of the Seattle Storm. Ogwumike was effusive in her praise toward the league's leading rebounder, dubbing Barbie "fearless".

"She's fearless. One thing about her about is that she has an unwavering confidence. She's fearless, she's relentless, when it comes to how she plays. You can teach technique, you can talk about how certain things look and what people should expect when it comes to working on certain skills. At the end of the day, you can have a skillful person, but if they're not relentless each time, there's only so far that that skill can take you. It's clear that she has longevity in this league given how she plays. I think that's something that no one can take away from her."

All and all that sounded like a long way for Ogwumike to say what Reese has said about herself, she is a dog. It is her relentlessness that has cemented Angel's place in the W already and she also was on the receiving end of compliments recently from New York Liberty star Breanna Stewart. The reigning MVP said this in showing love to Reese. “I think Angel, the way that she is constantly working hard, doing all the dirty work right now, rebounding, steals, making sure that she’s in all the action in whatever way she can help the team.”

It's clear Reese's work on the boards is not just giving her team extra opportunities to score, but also being noticed by her peers.
