Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese made a massive announcement on Tuesday that she's starting her own podcast titled, 'Unapologetically Angel', which will be releasing new episodes on Thursdays.

Creating her own podcast is a genius idea from Reese and her team. The former LSU Tiger icon's show is sure to be an instant success, given the massive platform she has already created for herself.

In an August 27 article from Complex, Reese is quoted saying of her new show, "It’s another way for me to connect with my fans and reach new audiences I wouldn’t necessarily have before. I can’t wait to share a different side with listeners and have them come on this ride with me."

The article also noted that 'Unapologetically Angel' will become a part of Playmaker HQ, which is connected to Shaquille O’Neal’s “The Big Podcast Network”.

"I mainly want this podcast to be a place for authentic and unfiltered conversations," Reese revealed. "Whether I’m sharing insights on basketball, the current trends in fashion, or the latest news in entertainment."

Following the podcast announcement, Reese posted an Instagram story on Tuesday that informed fans what they can expect from 'Unapologetically Angel'.

"Hey y'all, so I'm super excited to be announcing my new podcast, 'Unapologetically Angel'," Reese said. "I'm looking forward to this so much. Y'all gonna see y'all favorite celebrities, actresses, artists, anybody that you wanna see.

"We going to be spilling the tea from our voice, our narrative, our perspective," Reese continued. "Because we gonna spill the tea from our real lives, period."

Reese told Complex that, "I really want to have guests across all different industries on the show– sports, music, entertainment, business, creators, and more. But you know I’m definitely going to have to get my girls Meg (thee Stallion), Latto and Cardi B on here."

Reese is hosting the show alongside Maya Reese (no relation), and the first episode will be released on Thursday, September 5.

Perhaps fellow rookie icon Caitlin Clark will eventually be a guest on Reese's podcast.
