A'ja Wilson Signature Nike Shoe: Here's What We Know

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

During the Las Vegas Aces game against the Indiana Fever the ESPN broadcast referenced a "breakout search" for A'ja Wilson shoes. Obviously A'ja got to play in front of a large audience, with more than 20,000 fans in attendance at T-Mobile Arena and many more watching at home. Which means some new viewers may have been introduced to the dominance that is Wilson.

With that could come curiosity about her upcoming Nike signature shoe, the A'One. The company announced in May that A'ja's kicks would be releasing in 2025. They recently followed that up with her logo reveal.

But the anticipation about what style her signature will have remains high given it is still a mystery. Though perhaps Wilson has dropped hints through the Static Shock-themed Nike PE shoe she teased on social media based on the DC superhero.

A'ja herself had previously drawn comparisons to another superhero, Storm of the X-Men. Not just for the electricity she is able to bring to the court but due to the hair she sported for WNBA media day.

Perhaps the Static Shock design could be foreshadowing what is to come, as Wilson previously told Yahoo Sports the most important things for her shoe is that it is a low top and looks good. A'ja emphasized the low top aspect given that is what she plays in.

The drop from the superstar is sure to be highly anticipated with even Reebok athlete Angel Reese of the Chicago Sky stating, "I'm super happy for her. If I could wear Nike, I would definitely wear her shoe."
