Diana Taurasi Had Best WNBA All-Star Fit Check Response

WNBA legend and Phoenix Mercury star Diana Taurasi may not have been going for any best-dressed recognition at the All-Star orange carpet, but she had the best response about what she was wearing if you ask me. DT did not shout out any stylists or designers and simply said she was wearing white with black, an accurate response.

It's a big weekend for Taurasi given the Mercury's home of Phoenix is serving as the host city. Diana even had "Diana Taurasi Court" unveiled in her honor to coincide with the timing. The court is for the practice facility and obviously is meant to pay homage to what she has accomplished over her decorated career.

Taurasi is still playing at a high level in her 20th professional season averaging 16.1 points and 4.8 rebounds, while shooting a strong percentage from beyond the arc. She is also set to head to Paris soon with the Team USA Olympics squad to compete for her record sixth gold medal. The team actually took to the floor in their USA jerseys on her newly minted court in Phoenix. Taurasi clearly seems motivated for the upcoming tournament recently saying, β€œI don't love how my last Olympics went personally. I think as a team we still have a lot to prove."

Some of her Olympic teammates seemed to take the styling aspect of the weekend a little more seriously then she did however, with the likes Las Vegas Aces star Kelsey Plum receiving rave reviews.

Though the All-Star game itself will certainly take center stage given the aforementioned USA squad will be taking on Team WNBA, headlined by Indiana Fever standout Caitlin Clark and her fellow rookie Angel Reese of the Chicago Sky when the action tips off.
