There have been athletes turned rappers before. However, seeing the latter as the lead description is a rarity. But if you go to Flau'jae Johnson's Wikipedia page it reads, "American rapper and college basketball player for the LSU Tigers." Which is backed up by the sophomore guard being able to land a feature from legendary rapper Lil' Wayne.

Johnson more than holds her own on the collaboration titled "Came Out A Beast" which features Flau'jae spitting some bars shouting out a couple of former LSU stars. Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow and Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese and both name dropped on the song. Flau'jae raps, "Keep a double I feel like I'm Reese" referencing Angel's historic run of double-doubles and "I go to LSU and I be repping it like I'm Joe Burrow", which speaks for itself.

Flau'jae recently made an appearance at the BET Awards as well and has been understandably caught up in the excitement of Weezy making good on his promise to deliver her a feature verse. Wayne also makes some references to the court in his bars, "Dames be sparkling like Coach Mulkey. I'm Big 5, that's Big 4 Flau'jae."

Of course Johnson also averaged 14.9 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists while shooting over 50% from the floor for the Tigers a season ago. She scored 23 points in the team's Elite Eight loss to Caitlin Clark and Iowa in the NCAA Tournament.

Johnson's album "Best of Both Worlds", with the title clearly playing off her basketball and rapping ability, is out now.
