The Indiana Fever improved to 14-16 on the WNBA regular season Monday after defeating the Atlanta Dream by a score of 84-79.

Per usual of late, the Fever's success on the offensive end was largely owed to their starting backcourt duo. Kelsey Mitchell and Caitlin Clark combined for 48 points (Mitchell 29, Clark 19) and each secured 7 rebounds while Clark added 7 assists.

While it was those two Fever players who produced most of Indiana's highlights, the funniest moment from Monday's game came from Lexie Hull.

Hull was guarding Dream star Rhyne Howard as Howard was straddling the sideline right in front of Indiana's bench.

Howard being so close to the sideline prompted Hull to gently push her backward with her hand to ensure that she stepped out of bounds.

The push ended up not mattering, as Howard was called for being out of bounds before Hull's shove. But it was still a hilarious (and genius) play from Hull, who has proven indispensable for her team in recent games.

Hull started the second half for Indiana in place of starter Katie Lou Samuelson, who head coach Christie Sides said removed herself from the game at halftime because she wasn't feeling well (per Chloe Peterson).

This is why Hull ended up playing 30 minutes in the game while Samuelson logged just six minutes total.

And a clutch play Hull produced (with the help of Caitlin Clark) with a few minutes remaining in the fourth quarter turned the momentum back toward Indiana after the 11-point lead they'd taken into the fourth had dwindled to two points.

While Hull has become a key contributor off the bench for the Fever, this game might have convinced head coach Christie Sides to start her instead of Samuelson for Indiana's final stretch of regular season games.
