Angel Reese Attended NBA Summer League Instead of WNBA All-Star Carpet

Many of the WNBA All-Stars arrived in Phoenix for the fesitivities complete with much talked about fits. Fans seemed to enjoy seeing the players arrive in style, which included the trio of Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell from the Indiana Fever. Las Vegas Aces star Kelsey Plum and reigning MVP Breanna Stewart of the New York Liberty also had much discussed looks. But one player some may have been highly anticipating did not attend, Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese.

Reese instead opted to take in another NBA Summer League game, where she has become a bit of a staple. Angel of course was part of a huge social media moment while attending a previous contest in the company of Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown, but she made sure to point out how she had learned her lesson about lip-reading in another instance caught on camera.

Reese also had a notable exchange with a fan who was upset about her absence from Phoenix. Angel snapped back in a post that she was minding the business that pays her, seemingly referencing minding her own business and also the money the NBA generates to help subsidize the W.

Reese was missed because her charisma certainly would have carried over to the carpet but she will be playing the All-Star game itself, alongside fellow rookie Clark. Caitlin commented on that much discussed team-up and predicted that Angel would lead the contest in rebounds. Clark and Reese together will certainly be a sight to see and Angel is sure to command some attention, as she always does, whenever she does arrive.
