The Indiana Fever decided to flex with the WNBA break almost over. The team's social media account posted a series of Caitlin Clark statistics in emphatically declaring her the clear Rookie of the Year. The caption to the X post read, "It's a no contest" and was followed by a graphic rattling off the categories Clark leads all rookies in.

Six different stats were shown, including points, assists, steals, threes, field goals made and free throw percentage. Caitlin obviously tops all rookies in each per the point of what the social team was trying to get across.

Of course they could have added more. Clark not only leads all rookies in assists, but the entire league as well. In fact, she is pacing to break the record for most assists in a season by any player, rookie or not. She also has generated more points than any other player in the W, either via her own buckets or baskets her teammates have scored off her passes.

In addition, Clark leads all guards in rebounds per game. Though Angel Reese of the Chicago Sky has the boards department locked up when it comes to rookies. But Caitlin is actually averaging more blocks than Reese and is top 25 in the league or better in essentially every major statistical category.

Clark averaged 20.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 12.5 assists in July before the WNBA went on hiatus for the Olympics. Which is enough to make a case that Clark has a stronger argument for MVP than anyone else does for Rookie of the Year. She is currently tied for second in MVP odds on many sportsbooks.

We'll see if CC picks right up where she left off when play resumes for the Fever on Friday. However, the squad's social media team wanted to make sure everyone remembered what she has already accomplished, while attempting to end any WNBA Rookie of the Year debate.
