The National Women's Soccer League championship game will hold a moment of silence for the people killed in a Thursday shooting at Umpqua Community College Thursday in southern Oregon, Timbers team president Merritt Paulson announced.

Police believe seven to 13 people were dead in the shooting, according to KGW-TV. Oregon's attorney general said the shooter had been killed.

UCC is a college just six miles north of Roseburg, Ore., roughly three hours south of Portland. The school has an estimated 3,300 full-time student enrollment, and 16,000 other students attend on a part-time basis.

FC Kansas City and the Seattle Reign are scheduled to play on Thursday night at 9:30 p.m. ET at Providence Park in Portland, Ore.
