Ibrahimovic announced that he would be joining the team last month after much speculation about the move. The star forward had spent his previous four season with Paris Saint-Germain, with the Premier League titans landing the Swedish star on a free transfer after his PSG contract expired.
The 34-year-old announced over the summer that the Euro 2016 tournament would mark his final games playing with his national team. Sweden failed to exit the group stage of the continent-wide tournament with two losses and a draw in its three games.
