Watch: Cristiano Ronaldo ends scoring drought with hat trick in Madrid win

After a five-game scoring drought, Cristiano Ronaldo bounced back in a big way for Real Madrid on Saturday, scoring his side’s first two goals against Deportivo Alavés to spot a 2–1 lead.
The Portuguese star got his feet wet with a score from the penalty spot, then took a huge, screaming rip from outside the box and found the back of the net in the 32nd minute.
Ray Hudson, global treasure, was thankfully on the call. Watch it here.

The shot took a slight deflection off a defender, but was impressive nonetheless.
Ronaldo actually missed a penalty kick later in the game (it was saved), but found time to score a third goal off a nice one-two with Marcelo in the box, completing the hat trick.
He wasn't denied for long. @Cristiano powers home his third after another beauty of a pass from @MarceloM12. 1-4. https://t.co/Rc9R5RwkoD
