Patrick Mahomes, Dak Prescott Among Celebrity Athletes at F1 Miami Grand Prix

The stars came out in support of the race for the second straight year.

The Miami Grand Prix quickly has become a premier event in American racing, as celebrities from all over the country have come together in south Florida. Plenty of famous athletes decided to spend their off time attending the race, which is only in its second year of existence.

Among those in attendance are two prominent NFL quarterbacks. First is Patrick Mahomes, who had a busy week attending the Met Gala and Kentucky Derby before arriving in Miami. While entering the stadium with his wife and friends, Mahomes had two words to describe his busy schedule.

“I’m everywhere,” he said.

Then, Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott arrived, although with less fanfare than his Chiefs counterpart.

Besides the quarterbacks, a number of other famous athletes were seen on hand.

Serena Williams, Venus Williams, Roger Federer and Jake Paul are among those in Miami, with Paul specifically excited to watch the race unfold.

Jalen Ramsey of the hometown Dolphins made an appearance.

Finally, for the second straight year, Paolo Banchero attended the race, this time fresh off winning the NBA Rookie of the Year award.

As Formula 1 continues to grow in the United States, celebrities will continue to flock toward the event at this time of the year.

This year’s F1 schedule includes two more races in the United States. Round 19 will be held in Austin, Texas, on Oct. 20-22, and Round 22 is slated for Las Vegas on Nov. 16-18.
