Shohei Ohtani and the Los Angeles Dodgers dropped two of three games against the rival San Diego Padres over the weekend at Petco Park and the designated hitter was struck by something that he saw during the series — lots of Dodgers fans sitting in the stands.

The trip to San Diego is an easy one for Dodgers fans, as they just need to jump on the freeway and head a little over two hours south to take in a game at the beautiful ballpark that the Padres have called home since 2004.

Ohtani had a perfect answer when he was asked about the sellout crowds at Petco, which was his first time playing at as a member of hated Dodgers:

The Dodgers are still on top of the NL West after their poor showing in San Diego, but the Padres are now just 5 1/2 games back in second.
