While the NFL referees continue their lockout, the NFL is making plans to go on with the season without them.
In a report by Mike Jurecki of Xtra Sports 910 AM , replacement referees will be used in the Hall of Fame Game on Aug. 5 in Canton, Ohio.
Included in that group of officials working the Cardinals and Saints is Shannon Eastin. She has worked Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference games, and she would be the first female to be an on-field official for an NFL game.
According to the report, she worked the Cardinals training camp in Flagstaff, Ariz., this weekend.
