Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo could be in a familiar position on Sunday that he hasn't been in a while: field goal holder.
Because of injuries to normal holders, punters Chris Jones and Brian Moorman, Romo will be asked to step in if the situation arises this Sunday for the Cowboys game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Romo famously bobbled a field goal attempt snap during a 2006 playoff loss in Seattle.
"There’s a possibility that Tony’s going to hold,” Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said to the Dallas Morning News. “Tony is probably the best option. [Kyle] Orton has a little bit of history holding at some point in his life, so he’s gotten some work at that. Just off the top of my head, those are the guys that have gotten the most work for us.”
