The Kansas City Chiefs Public Relations released the names of 10 new additions to the coaching staff.

Nine out of the ten new hires have some previous affiliation or employment with the Eagles, most as recently as the 2012 season. Britt Reid (Quality Control) is newly hired head coach Andy Reid's son. The only non-Eagles affiliated hire is Eric Bieniemy, who most recently spent two years as the offensive coordinator/running backs coach at the University of Colorado.

Head coach Andy Reid naturally had good things to say about the new staff, considering how closely he has worked with most of them.

“I’m pleased we were able to get all of these coaches on board. I have relationships with each of them, and I know their past experiences, work ethics and coaching styles. These are high-character coaches, and each one brings something different to the table for us.”
