Could Donald Driver's exit from the Packers send him to Green Bay's biggest rival?
The Vikings are interested in signing the unrestricted free agent, according to a report from Fox 11 in Green Bay. Driver's future in Green Bay appears over after the team's all-time leading receiver caught eight passes and was inactive for one of the team's two playoff games.
The soon-to-be 38-year-old could shop for a new team or lean toward retirement, as reported by USA Today last week.
Driver, who has hosted Fox 11's "Inside the Huddle" show for years, said two weeks ago:
"I think I could go to any team and be either their number one or number two guy and be solid for another three years, “ Driver said. “The question is do I want to see myself in another uniform? Will my family want to see that? If nobody wants to see it at the end of the day, it will still be a tough decision because I've always said I only want to wear that green and gold and nothing else."
