The Suns have received permission from Houston to interview assistant coach J.B. Bickerstaff for their head coaching job, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.
Bickerstaff, 34, has become a popular commodity among the NBA's coaching searches, having already interviewed with the Bucks and Pistons this month.

The son of former NBA head coach Bernie Bickerstaff -- most recently the interim guy during the Lakers' November switch -- joined the Rockets in 2011 after serving as an assistant with the Timberwolves and the Bobcats.
