The Dallas Stars unveiled their new logo and uniforms Tuesday night, going with a green sweater with white and black accents for their home jersey. And sporting a white sweater with black and green accents on the road.
The new logo is a white "D" with a white star behind it and will be on the front of both the home and away uniforms. The logo will also appear in a small circular patch on the shoulders of the sweaters.
The team itself is undergoing a remodeling job as they fired their coach Glen Gulutzan after two seasons last month and fired general manager Joe Nieuwendyk in April.
“If I look at the 30 logos from around the league, there are some elite logos there. Some of them are the Original 6 ones and then you have a bunch of other really great logos. I would hope that our logo would belong in that group. I think it met the test,” Stars owner Tom Gaglardi said.
