Florida State wide receiver Greg Dent has been arrested and charged for attempting to sexually assault a female friend, according to a report. Dent was arraigned on second-degree sexual assault charges on Monday and the senior-to-be has been suspended indefinitely by Florida State University. Dent is facing up to 15 years for allegedly sexually assaulting a friend following a night out in Tallahassee, Florida over the weekend.

According to the police report, Dent and his female friend were having dinner at Dent's apartment before Dent suggested going to a night club he could get them into for free. Dent's friend consented and they, along with two of Dent's friends, stayed at the club until it closed before going back to Dent's apartment.

Dent's friend alleged Dent tried to force himself upon her despite her requests to not be touched or kissed. According to the report, Dent forcibly removed her shorts and underwear and penetrated her vagina twice despite a struggle between the two. Dent's friend was able to punch and elbow Dent off of her before fleeing the apartment and reporting the incident to local law enforcement.

Dent's bail has been set for $15,000 by Leon County Judge Robert Wheeler and Dent will also be on pre-trial supervision and isn't forbidden from making contact with the alleged victim.
