Knicks guard J.R. Smith reportedly has taken his reputation as a brash, outspoken and sometimes overly aggressive competitor to the streets in the form of an unusually bold vehicle. The New York Post's Page Six reports Smith was spotted driving a Gurkha F5 armored vehicle.
The Gurkha, manufactured by Terradyne Armored Vehicles of Toronto, is priced at $450,000 and used by police and military forces. If Smith has purchased or leased the truck, he's likely paying for it courtesy of a new $24 million contract with the Knicks.
