Tennessee Titans starting quarterback Jake Locker was carted off the field during Sunday's game against the New York Jets with an apparent right hip injury.
Locker was injured early in the third quarter, after a brutal hit in the chest area from Jets defensive lineman Muhammad Wilkerson. Locker twisted as he crumbled down and grabbed the area around his right hip.
Locker was in the midst of an impressive showing against the Jets before the injury. In the first half, he had as many touchdown passes as incompletions (three). Overall, he had completed 18 of 24 passes for 149 yards and three touchdowns before his exit. He also ran for 17 yards on three carries.
