The Vikings have no plans to switch from quarterback Christian Ponder, despite his 53.0-rating day against the Seahawks.
The 2-8 Vikings benched him for Matt Cassel and spent money on Josh Freeman, but Vikings coach Leslie Frazier announced Wednesday that Ponder will start against the Packers Sunday.
Cassel replaced a struggling Ponder in the fourth quarter against Seattle, after Ponder threw a pick-six. But Cassel didn't fare much better. He completed 5-of-13 passes for 78 yards, one touchdown, and an interception as Minnesota lost 41-20.
