Report: Dan Haren agrees to one-year deal with Dodgers

Free-agent starter Dan Haren and the Los Angeles Dodgers have agreed to a one-year, $10 million contract, Fox Sports' Ken Rosenthal reported Sunday night. The contract, which is pending a physical, includes an option for 2015 that vests if Haren pitches 180 innings next season.

Haren hasn't pitched 180 innings in a season since 2011 with the Los Angeles Angels. But when healthy, the 33-year-old Haren proved that he can still pitch at high-quality levels. After a shaky first half last season with the Washington Nationals, he returned from a 15-day stint on the disabled list and posted a 3.29 ERA.

Haren joins a formidable rotation in Los Angeles that already includes Clayton Kershaw, Zack Greinke, and Hyun-Jin Riu at its top.
