Running back Damien Williams has been removed from the Oklahoma Sooners roster after violating team rules.
Oklahoma head coach Bob Stoops announced today the Williams was no longer with the team, after he and wide receiver Lacoltan Bester were suspended last week for violating team rules, according to John Shinn of the Norman Transcript. Bester has been reinstated after serving his suspension.
Williams had 114 carries and seven rushing touchdowns before being thrown off the team. It's unclear which team rule (or rules) Williams violated.
