Green Bay Packers guard Josh Sitton went on the radio Tuesday to tell what he really thinks of the Detroit Lions in advance of their Thanksgiving Day NFC North Showdown.

Sitton said he thinks if quarterback Aaron Rodgers played on Thursday that players on the Lions’ defensive line would try to hurt him. Rodgers most likely will not play in the game because of a broken left collarbone.

“They go after quarterbacks, their entire defense takes cheap shots all the time,” Sitton said to Sports Radio 1250 in Milwaukee. “That’s what they do, that’s who they are. They’re a bunch of dirtbags or scumbags. I mean, that’s just how they play."

Sitton, who is in his sixth year in the NFL, had some choice words to say about the Lions coaching staff as well.

"That’s how they’re coached. That starts with their frickin’ coach. That starts with their head coach, Schwartz. He’s a d---, too," Sitton said. "I wouldn’t want to play for him. It starts with him and their D-coordinator and their D-line coach. They’re all just scumbags and so are the D-line.”
