Los Angeles Clippers guard J.J. Redick will miss 6-8 weeks after fracturing his hand, according to Matt Moore of CBSSports.com.
Redick injured his hand in the 2nd quarter of the Clippers' 104-98 overtime win against the Sacramento Kings on Saturday night, while trying to break his fall after a midair collision with DeMarcus Cousins. The team later announced that Redick had a fracture in his shooting hand and a torn UCL in his right elbow.
Redick is shooting 35.9% behind the arc and averaging 15.8 points-per-game in his first season since joining the Clippers as part of a sign and trade deal. He will be replaced by Willie Green in the starting lineup.
