The Red Sox and Mike Napoli have reached an agreement on a two-year, $32 million dollar deal, according to Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports. (The deal was first reported by Rob Bradford of WEEI.com and Sean McAdam of Comcast SportsNet New England.)

Napoli is believed to have taken less money to stay with the World Series champion Red Sox, after receiving strong offers both the Seattle Mariners and Texas Rangers.

2013 was Napoli's first season in Boston, where he was an integral part of the team's World Series title. He had previously played for the Rangers and Los Angeles Angels.
