The Tigers have agreed with free agent outfielder Rajai Davis on a two-year contract, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports. Jon Morosi of Fox Sports reports the deal is worth between $9 million and $10 million.
Davis, a 33-year-old right-handed bat, hit .260 with a .312 on-base percentage and a .375 slugging percentage and swiped 45-of-51 stolen bases for the Blue Jays in 2013.
He is projected to platoon with left-handed hitting Andy Dirks in left field.

Davis' signing also could signal the Tigers are taking themselves out of the chase for high-profile free agent outfielder Shin-Soo Choo. The Rangers and Diamondbacks reportedly remain in talks with agent Scott Boras for Choo's services.
