Miami Dolphins interview Ray Farmer for GM position

The Miami Dolphins officially announced Saturday that Ray Farmer completed his interview, becoming the latest candidate in the team's search for a new general manager.

The Dolphins' website posted about Farmer, calling him "a hot commodity in the National Football League." Farmer spent the past season as the assistant general manager for the Cleveland Browns. Before working for Cleveland, he spent 2006-2012 with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Dolphins officials already sat down with three GM candidates on Friday: Dolphins assistant GM Brian Gaine, Pittsburgh Steelers director of football administration Omar Khan and Arizona Cardinals vice president of player personnel Jason Licht. The Miami Herald reported that the team is also hoping to speak with the Philadelphia Eagles' personnel man, Tom Gamble.

The Dolphins are also on the hunt for an offensive coordinator. So far, the team has interviewed the Eagles' quarterback coach Bill Lazor and Washington's former OC Kyle Shanahan.
