Richie Incognito's lawyer released a statement Friday alleging that Ted Wells' investigation of his client, fellow offensive lineman Jonathan Martin and the Miami Dolphins workplace is "replete with errors" and that Martin "was never bullied."

Wells' report, which was released Friday, concluded that Incognito and two teammates harassed Martin, another teammate and an assistant trainer. (Read the full report here.) Incognito was suspended in early November after being accused of bullying Martin and missed the rest of the season.

Mark Schamel, Incognito's lawyer, released the statement to several media outlets, including Pro Football Talk. The statement in full:

"Mr. Wells NFL report is replete with errors. The facts do not support a conclusion that Jonathan Martin’s mental health, drug use, or on-field performance issues were related to the treatment by his teammates.

“It is disappointing that Mr. Wells would have gotten it so wrong, but not surprising.  The truth, as reported by the Dolphins players and as shown by the evidence, is that Jonathan Martin was never bullied by Richie Incognito or any member of the Dolphins Offensive line.  We are analyzing the entire report and will release a thorough analysis as soon as it is ready.”

Incognito has denied bullying Martin. On Wednesday, he wrote on Twitter that the "truth" would bury Martin. But Wells' report rejected Incognito's claims that vulgar text messages released to the media were an instance of two friends joking around.
